The colored photo-etched set Eduard 1:72 Fortress Mk. III rear interior for the detailed fitting out of the rear part of the fuselage of the bomber. It is an accessory for a kit, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard holds colored photo-etched parts for the detailed improvement of the rear part of the interior of the Fortress Mk. III bomber in 1:72 scale. It is not a model of an airplane in its own right but an accessory for the matching plastic kit. The photo-etch brings the equipment of the rear fuselage, the stations of the gunners and the small structural elements that injection-molded plastic cannot capture faithfully at this scale.
Fortress Mk. III was the British designation for the Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress in the service of the Royal Air Force. The machines served above all with Coastal Command and with units of radio reconnaissance and electronic warfare. The rear part of the fuselage carried the defensive machine gun positions and the tail turret on the B-17.
Cut the parts from the fret with a sharp knife, make the bends in a bending tool or over the edge of a ruler and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The colored surfaces are pre-printed, and matting them down gently is enough. The set fills the set for the front interior out well.
This is a supplementary set, not a model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
