A plastic kit model of the F-15J Eagle fighter in service with the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) in 1:72 scale from the Japanese company Platz. The model with its fine engraved panel lines captures the Japanese version of the American twin-engined heavy fighter and usually comes with quality decals. It is a precisely executed kit for collectors of modern aviation hardware.
The F-15J is the Japanese license-built version of the American air superiority fighter McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle. The JASDF introduced it as its main interceptor for the defense of Japanese airspace. A pair of powerful turbojets, a long range and heavy air-to-air armament make it one of the most successful air superiority fighters of its generation.
Work with thin cement for plastic and an airbrush. The F-15J carries the typical two-tone gray camouflage, with which panel lines brought out by a fine wash come into their own. Prepare masks for the canopy glazing; seal the decals with a gloss and then a flat varnish. Assemble the underwing armament and the tanks according to the scheme you choose.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
