Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:72 aimed exclusively at the technical lettering of the Lockheed Martin F-16C and the two-seat F-16D version. These are not national insignia or color schemes of units, but the small service and warning lettering with which the real aircraft is densely covered: markings by the filler necks, by the tie-down points, by the dispensers, by the engine intake and by the access panels. The package holds the decals only; the model and paints are not part of it.
It is precisely this small lettering that makes a model a modern aircraft. The decals enclosed with kits tend to be a compromise where lettering is concerned, printed more coarsely, and some of it is missing altogether. A separate sheet makes it possible to letter a model in more detail while keeping your own choice of national insignia and the markings of a particular unit. Because this is a gray to black print on a light as well as a dark surface, the result works well both on the standard gray camouflage and on special finishes.
Work on a gloss coat, otherwise small lettering silvers more than any other decal. Cut the motifs off one at a time and carry them with tweezers with smooth jaws; with the smallest lettering a dampened brush helps. Apply the softener sparingly and let it work, as brushing over would shift or tear the thin film. Work panel by panel and compare the position with photographs or the instructions as you go. Once dry, clear-coat the area with a semi-matte coat, which sinks the lettering into the surface.
The package holds the decals only. The model, glue and paints are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
