The New Ware mask set for models of the Mil Mi-24A Hind in 1:72 scale in the BASIC version: die-cut kabuki tape masks for the cockpit glazing, the clear parts and the wheels.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of accurate self-adhesive masks from the Czech brand New Ware for plastic models of the early Soviet Mil Mi-24A Hind attack helicopter in 1:72 scale. It is not a model but a masking aid for painting. The masks are die-cut from quality Japanese kabuki tape, which shapes itself around curves, holds a sharp edge and leaves no adhesive behind when peeled off.
The Mi-24A was an early version of the Hind line, with the pilots' compartment glazed and divided differently; later versions replaced it with separate tandem cockpits. It is exactly that extensive glazing which makes clean masking a time-consuming step, and one that the set simplifies considerably.
For modelers who want to spray the intricate glazing of the Hind cleanly without laborious masking with tape. BASIC is the basic level, aimed at the glazing and the wheels.
The set does not hold the model itself or the paints. Apply the masks to a degreased and clean surface.
