Nine schemes of Polish supersonic fighters in 1:72 scale. Five different versions of the type, from the reconnaissance one to the late interceptor, including an anniversary finish.

The Polish Air Force operated the Soviet supersonic fighter in an exceptional range of versions and kept it in service long after newer types had replaced it elsewhere. The sheet makes use of that variety: it offers five different versions and nine particular fuselage numbers.
The 1:72 scale invites building several examples of the same type side by side, and here it makes sense: the individual versions differ in the shape of the spine, the size of the fin and the position of the reconnaissance pods. With one sheet you can therefore cover the whole development of the type in the service of one country, without buying decals for each kit separately.
Polish machines were often finished with aluminum lacquer, which has a slightly cool cast and reflects its surroundings, so a decal on it quickly gives its edge away. Polish the surface and apply a glossy intermediate coat under the decals. The fin markings and fuselage numbers are transferred over changes of shape, where a stronger decal softener helps. The package holds the sheet alone, without a model.
