WWI French Brown is an AK interactive acrylic modeling paint from the 3rd Generation line, the brown shade of French camouflage of combat equipment of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A brown camouflage shade from the 3rd Generation acrylic line, that is from paints with a water-thinnable binder. It is not an enamel or a lacquer and it does not get on with solvent thinners. The item belongs to the sub-line meant for ground combat equipment and complements the other French shades of the period of the First World War, which were applied beside one another on vehicles in irregular fields. Check the volume of the bottle on the label of the package.
Each tool makes a different surface out of the same paint. Once thinned, an airbrush gives a thin and even coat with no strokes; it suits the large surfaces of a hull and soft transitions between camouflage fields. A brush works with thicker paint and leaves a fine texture, which suits small parts, equipment and fittings, where camouflaging with an airbrush would be needlessly laborious. When working with a brush, rather apply two thin coats than one thick one; the strokes are drawn out less that way and the engraved details do not get flooded.
Suited to modelers building equipment of the First World War and to anyone looking for a universal modeling brown with an acrylic binder. Beginners are suited by the easy cleaning of tools with water, and the more experienced will appreciate it as a component for mixing their own tones.
An acrylic paint. When spraying, see to ventilation and respiratory protection; keep it out of the reach of children and do not expose it to frost.
