Pmask 1:72 National Insignia Series Bell P-39 Airacobra RAF is a set of self-adhesive templates for spraying British national insignia onto a model. The markings then arise as a real layer of paint.
Responsibility details are not available.
Die-cut self-adhesive masks from the National Insignia Series line of the Polish maker Pmask, intended for a model of the Airacobra in British form in 1:72 scale. Instead of sticking decals on, the national insignia are sprayed through the template, so no carrier film stays on the model. The dimensions of the templates match the areas of this type of aircraft in this scale.
The Airacobra was only a brief episode with the Royal Air Force. In design terms it was an unusual aircraft, with the engine mounted behind the pilot and a nosewheel landing gear, but its performance at higher altitudes did not meet British requirements and operational use stayed limited. Most of the aircraft ordered therefore ended up with other operators.
The package contains masking film only. The paints and the kit are not part of it.
