PZL P.23 / P.42 / P.43 — a color photo-etched instrument panel from Yahu Models is a finished detail accessory for the cockpit of models of the Karas family in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an aircraft kit, but a detail accessory for the cockpit — a color, pre-printed photo-etched instrument panel for the family of Polish machines PZL P.23, P.42 and P.43 Karas. The panel is built up from several laminated etched layers, so it has real depth, and the dials are color-printed and coated with a gloss varnish that imitates the glass faces. It is fitted in place of the plastic or decal panel from the kit.
The PZL.23 Karas was a Polish light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft of the late 1930s with a radial engine. It was thrown into the defensive fighting of 1939; the P.43 version was aimed at export and machines of this family served with other air forces as well. The cockpit has a characteristic instrument layout.
Separate the panel carefully from its fret, shape it gently if needed and glue it on with a small drop of cyanoacrylate or clear glue. In 1:72 scale, tweezers and good light help; try the fit dry beforehand.
This is an accessory for the cockpit, not a whole model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
