An injection-molded plastic kit of the Russian 9K720 Iskander-M theater ballistic missile system in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Modelcollect. The model captures the self-propelled launcher assembly on the heavy wheeled MZKT chassis with a pair of missiles. The package contains injection-molded plastic parts; the exact contents are stated by the manufacturer.
The 9K720 Iskander-M is a Russian mobile theater ballistic missile system intended to destroy ground targets at great distances. The launcher is carried on a heavy wheeled chassis of Belarusian manufacture, the MZKT, which gives it high mobility and the ability to change the firing position quickly.
The smaller 1:72 scale puts the emphasis on a clean assembly of the wheeled chassis and of the launcher assembly. Glue the parts with cement for plastic. For a faithful look an airbrush works well for the base camouflage, together with fine washes and pigments for dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
