Control surface masks for the Bf 109E 1:48 from Omask help to mark the moving surfaces out cleanly during painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a mask set from the Omask brand for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter in 1:48 scale. The masks mark out the control surfaces, that is the ailerons, the elevator and the rudder, so that spraying gives a clean division and brings out the fabric-covered or moving parts. The set is cut for a Bf 109E model; it is not a model of an aircraft, but an accessory for painting.
The Bf 109E, nicknamed the Emil, was one of the main versions of the German fighter at the beginning of the Second World War. It was powered by an inverted V12 engine, and the machine was marked out by its squared wingtips and its proven design.
For modelers who want the control surfaces cleanly separated without laborious masking by hand. Spray in thin layers so that the paint does not creep under the edge of the mask.
This is a masking accessory, not a model. Paints and the kit are not included in the package.
