Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the Soviet SU-100 self-propelled gun in 1:72 scale from the Revell brand. It comes out in a special edition linked to the online game World of Tanks and is conceived as an easy build with parts that click together, for which glue is not strictly necessary. Color-molded parts and decals refer to the look of the vehicle from the game, so even a beginner can manage the model.
The SU-100 was a Soviet tank destroyer developed on the chassis of the T-34 medium tank toward the end of World War II. It carried a powerful gun of 100 mm caliber, which could threaten even heavily armored German targets. The combination of the mobility of the T-34 chassis and penetrating armament made it one of the most effective self-propelled weapons of its day, and it stayed in service with a number of armies long after the war.
Thanks to the easy-click concept the model holds together even without glue, but a drop of thin cement for plastic will improve the strength and the cleanness of the joints. The tracks are done as single pieces. For a more durable result we recommend degreasing the parts before painting, spraying a primer and applying the shade with an airbrush; final washes and pigments will help bring out the details and add dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
