The Tiger is a two-seat attack helicopter developed in European cooperation and designated Tigre in the French-speaking world. The crew sit in tandem, the machine has two turboshaft engines, a slim fuselage with a small frontal cross-section and extensive use of composite materials. The HAP version is the French support and escort variant: it carries a turreted gun under the forward fuselage and can carry rocket pods and short-range air-to-air missiles on the stub-wing pylons. It differs from the anti-tank version above all in the make-up of its armament and in its observation equipment.
The slim fuselage of the Tiger is sensitive to seams where the halves join, so it pays to fill and sand them carefully. Leave the rotor head and the pylons until the end of the build so that they do not suffer while you handle the model. Mask the glazing before spraying. Glue the plastic with liquid cement and, after the primer, apply the main shade with an airbrush. Settle the decals on a gloss coat, and a matte coat and a restrained wash will then pull the whole thing together.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
