An accessory for a model in 1:72 scale: the British Vickers K aircraft machine gun, two pieces in the package.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Vickers K is a British rapid-firing machine gun of 7.7 mm caliber, told apart from ground weapons at first glance by the flat drum magazine sitting on top. It came about as a flexible defensive weapon for the open gun positions of British aircraft of the 1930s and early 1940s, where a high rate of fire and a magazine that could be changed with one hand mattered most. When remotely controlled turrets replaced it in aircraft, it got a second life on the vehicles of British long-range units in North Africa.
The package contains two pieces of the weapon in 1:72 scale, as the name states directly. It suits everywhere a kit offers the machine gun only as a coarse suggestion, that is in open gun positions, on defensive mounts and on vehicle models in the corresponding scale. The recommended glue and any preparation procedure are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts in this scale are really small, so work with tweezers and over a tray from which a dropped part can be recovered. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder gently. Wash and degrease the part before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold. Do not finish the weapon to a gloss: the barrel and the breech look truer in a matte dark shade, on which a light pass of graphite or metallic pigment can merely suggest the polished metal on the edges.
The kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
