A set of ten wooden strips from Constructo in linden wood of a light, ivory shade. Each strip measures 2x4x1000 mm. Linden is a soft, homogeneous wood that works easily, bends and sands readily and has no pronounced changes in density. The strips serve as building and planking material for wooden ship models, for making decks, hull planking, superstructure and small details.

Use

• Cut the strips to the length you need with a sharp knife or a modeling saw.
• For hull planking, dampen the strips as needed and bend them over the shape.
• Glue them with PVA wood glue or with cyanoacrylate, depending on the type of joint.
• Sand the surface over with fine abrasive paper before varnishing or staining.
