A set of historical figures, 1:72 Russian Artillery, 17th century, from the maker Red Box: an artillery emplacement for a scene of the 17th century.
Responsibility details are not available.
Historical figures in 1:72 scale from the maker Red Box with the subject of Russian artillery of the 17th century. Supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The set belongs to a pair in which the same maker offers Russian artillery separately for the 16th and separately for the 17th century. The distinguishing detail is the century in the name. In a scene this is a set with a story of its own, so it goes well with surrounding infantry as well as with period buildings.
An artillery emplacement is not seated into a diorama like a figure but like a trace in the terrain. First decide by which way the piece reached the place, and suggest that route with shallow wheel ruts pressed into the compound while it is still soft. Leave the area around the emplacement trampled and free of growth, while the edges of the scene may have taller grass scatter. Close the transition between the base and the terrain with a thin layer of fine scatter material; a coarse material would come across at this scale as stones, not as soil.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, scatter materials and bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
