Full-color safety belts with a three-dimensional relief for the cockpit of the British F-4 Phantom in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Safety belts are the first thing a viewer notices in an open cockpit, and at the same time the detail that is hardest to make from a kit: either it comes across as stiff and flat, or a modeler makes it himself from strips of foil and spends an evening on it. This set offers finished full-color belts with a three-dimensional relief, so a cockpit moves up a level in a moment.
The guise corresponds to British Phantoms, that is to the machines of the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy, which differ from the American versions in the equipment of the cockpit as well. The 1:32 scale is rewarding for such a detail: the cockpit is large, the glazing extensive and the inside is visible even with the canopy closed. Please check the match with a particular kit in the manufacturer's instructions.
First clean and degrease the seat and the belts, place the elements with tweezers and press them on with a soft stick, so that they seat into the shape. The procedure for application differs between the individual lines, so check it in the manufacturer's instructions beforehand. The instructions also say what to fix the elements with, and it pays off to read them before you set to work.
For a builder who leaves a cockpit open and wants to finish its equipment without the lengthy painting of small parts. It will also be appreciated by anyone who does not dare to make belts himself or does not have the patience for it. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
