This is a finished, pre-formed and painted instrument panel, not a model. The panel is of photo-etched metal with a color print in the RLM 02 shade and glossy dial faces that faithfully imitate the glazing of the instruments. You fit it straight into the cockpit with no varnishing and no dry transfers of the instruments.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109E (Emil) was the key fighter of the Luftwaffe at the beginning of the Second World War. The color RLM 02 (gray-green) was the typical interior shade of German aircraft cockpits of this period, so a panel in this finish matches period practice.
Take the panel carefully out of its fret, assemble the individual layers according to the instructions if need be and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Fit it in place of the original plastic or photo-etched panel. The glossy dial faces come out on their own; for depth the instruments can be completed with a drop of gloss varnish imitating glass.
