Replacement road wheels for the Jagdpanzer 38 in 1:35 scale, in the version with sixteen bolts on the disc and a wide collar. The set is enough for one kit and is meant for the Dragon 6030, 6037 and 6060 kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The road wheels of the German light tank destroyer Jagdpanzer 38, for which the name Hetzer has taken hold, did not look the same on every vehicle. The discs differed in the number and the kind of fasteners, and the collar was wider or narrower according to the production batch. On a model the wheels sit in the line of sight and carry a lot of the overall impression, so a swapped version shows even in a photograph of the finished build.
The set replaces the wheels from the original kit. This version has sixteen bolts on the disc and a wide collar. The contents are counted for one vehicle and the parts are shaped for the Dragon kits with the kit numbers 6030, 6037 and 6060; on kits from another manufacturer the seating of the axles need not match. The material of the parts, their number and the way they are made are given on the box and in the manufacturer's instructions.
Cut the surplus material and the traces of production away with a sharp blade a little from the part and then sand the surface flat. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Choose the glue and the procedure by the material of the parts and by the enclosed instructions. Dry-fit the wheels on the axles before gluing, so that you know how much material has to come off; fit them only after the base color has dried, because a brush is hard to maneuver between the wheel and the collar afterward.
For modelers of German armor who want the version of the disc to match a particular vehicle. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
