Figure of a StuG assault gun loader at rest in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand PANZER ART, a resin casting for you to assemble and paint yourself.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure in 1:35 scale, the manufacturer's part number FI35-122. It represents the loader of a German StuG assault gun in a relaxed pose. A resting figure works well in a diorama on the superstructure, on a fender or beside the vehicle, where it gives away its size.
StuG means Sturmgeschütz, that is the German assault gun. It had no rotating turret, the gun was built into a fixed low superstructure with limited traverse, and the crew was four men: commander, gunner, loader and driver. The loader worked in the cramped fighting compartment beside the gun breech and was one of the hardest-worked members of the crew, because he passed the shells over by hand one at a time. A relaxed pose is therefore not just decoration, but a scene that belongs to this duty.
First wash the resin castings in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release agent from the mold is gone, otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or cutting pliers, do not snap them, and sand them down under water with respiratory protection, because resin dust should not be breathed in. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate-based super glue; ordinary cement for plastic does not attack resin. A primer coat is needed before painting.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
