1:35 Ammunition containers for the KwK 40 gun, 12 pieces is a resin accessory set from PANZER ART. It is not a kit but equipment for models and dioramas in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of twelve resin transport containers for the rounds of the German 7.5 cm tank gun. It is separate equipment, not a kit of a vehicle or of a weapon. The containers suit a fighting compartment with an exposed interior, stowage on the hull, a loading scene in a diorama or an accessory to figures. The castings hold the shape detail of the catches and handles, which on small plastic parts is usually simplified.
The 7.5 cm KwK 40 gun was the main armament of the German Pz.Kpfw. IV medium tank from its later versions on, and in a modified form it reached assault guns as well. The longer barrel gave the older chassis a new ability to fight enemy tanks, and the KwK 40 became one of the most widespread German tank guns of the Second World War. Ammunition was brought to the vehicles in transport containers, which occurred in great numbers at loading points and in the areas of combat vehicles, and so they naturally belong in model scenes from the German battlefield.
Wash the small parts carefully in lukewarm water with dish soap, ideally in a strainer so that they are not lost. Cut the casting blocks off with a sharp knife or a saw in small steps, as on small castings an edge is easily broken away. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a filler primer before painting. German vehicles keep to dark yellow and gray tones, but paint the containers in a slight deviation from the vehicle, so that they do not merge on the model. Pick the sharp edges out with a dry brush, darken the gaps and catches with a wash and finally add a light dust.
This is an accessory set. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
