Ammunition containers for the gun of the Panther in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. Twelve pieces in the package.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of cast containers for the artillery ammunition of the long-barreled 75 mm gun that armed the German Panther tank, in 1:35 scale. The package contains twelve pieces. Replenishing ammunition is a rewarding subject in dioramas, because it gives the scene something to do and at the same time explains why the crew is standing outside.
The 75 mm gun with a barrel length of 70 calibers was among the most effective anti-armor weapons of the war. Its round was, however, long and heavy, so it was carried in protective containers, and replenishing the ammunition in the tank was hard work for several men. The empty containers then piled up around the vehicle.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and level the surfaces. Place the containers irregularly, some leaning, some lying down. Paint them and rub the edges back with a sponge, then apply a dark wash into the seams. If your scene shows ammunition being replenished, leave a few of them open and lay one down as if someone had clearly just put it aside.
The set is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
