Responsibility details are not available.
A small modeling casting captures the infantry blockhouse K-Ba-S 24 Libuse in the uniform scale of 1:1000, from the production of the Czech association ROP o.s. It is a faithful reduction of a particular structure of the Czechoslovak heavy fortification, suitable for collectors as well as an element for a diorama on the subject of the border forts. The model is supplied as a kit intended for assembly and painting.
The infantry blockhouse K-Ba-S 24 Libuse was one of the structures of the Bouda artillery fort, built in the eastern part of the Orlicke Mountains south of Kraliky as part of the Czechoslovak border fortification of the years 1936 to 1938. The main armament consisted of pairs of vz. 37 heavy machine guns in embrasures under the concrete, whose fire was supplemented by a light machine gun from an auxiliary embrasure. The structure was seriously damaged during German demolition trials under the occupation.
First clean any casting remains off the parts and degrease the surfaces. For the small 1:1000 scale an airbrush and thin coats of paint are suitable; you will imitate concrete with a gray with a cold cast, the terrain with a muted green and ocher shades. Dry patina and fine washes will bring out the edges and the hollows and give the concrete a realistic texture.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
