Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the famous ocean liner R.M.S. Titanic in 1:1000 scale from Academy. The model is molded in several colors of plastic, so it can be assembled even without painting it completely. The assembled model is about thirty centimeters long and a display stand is included. Its simple build makes it suitable for less experienced modelers and younger builders as well.
The R.M.S. Titanic was a British ocean liner of the White Star Line, in its day one of the largest and most luxurious ships in the world. On her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York in April 1912 she sank in the North Atlantic after striking an iceberg. Her characteristic silhouette with four funnels is one of the best known ship silhouettes in history.
The color-separated plastic makes the build easier, but for a realistic look it pays to paint the hull and the superstructures and to unify the shades. Bringing out the deck and the detail with a wash and light weathering will help. Separate the small parts from the sprues carefully so that they are not damaged.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
