A plastic kit of the Kawasaki KH250 motorcycle in the B3 and B4 versions in 1:12 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Kawasaki KH250 is a quarter-liter class road motorcycle with a two-stroke three-cylinder engine. It is recognizable by its trio of exhausts, the slim tank and the slender frame, which make it look light even at a glance. The B3 and B4 versions fall at the end of the nineteen-seventies and differ mainly in their paintwork and in details of equipment.
This is a plastic kit in 1:12 scale. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. How many parts the box contains, which color schemes it offers and in what order to proceed is stated in the manufacturer's instructions included with the kit. They also show which parts differ between the two versions and at what point you have to decide for one of them.
On a motorcycle almost everything is visible, so it pays to assemble the frame and the engine dry and check that it all fits before gluing anything for good. Spray the tank and the fenders separately and before they are fitted; a glossy finish takes only the barest minimum of handling. On chrome-plated parts, scrape the surface layer away at the joint, otherwise the glue has nothing to grip. Assemble the wheels on a flat surface so that the model stands. Add the small items such as cables and wiring right at the end, because they break off easily.
The kit will please modelers with an interest in Japanese motorcycles of the nineteen-seventies and anyone looking for a build where the finish and the detail of the power unit can be played with. Paints, glue and filler are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
