Military Green is a subdued military green from the range of AMMO of Mig Jimenez, listed under the manufacturer's part number A.MIG-F564. It is not a bright green but a grayed field tone of the kind carried by vehicles, crates, equipment and other gear. Shades like this are usually the most visible on a model, because they cover large areas and decide whether the result looks like equipment in the field or like a toy.
Stir the contents of the pot thoroughly before use; the pigment settles to the bottom and unstirred paint has a different tone and poorer coverage. Apply several light coats rather than one heavy one, otherwise the engraved lines and fine surface detail will be flooded. On a large area it pays to lighten the shade slightly in the middle of the panels and leave it darker at the edges, so that the model does not look flat.
The composition of the paint is not stated here, so go by the information on the package: use the thinner intended for this range and keep to the thinning ratio the manufacturer prescribes. Clean the airbrush and the brushes with the same thinner immediately after work. Close the pot carefully so that the paint does not thicken, and work in a ventilated area.
For builders of military equipment, figures and dioramas who need a basic field green, whether for the large surfaces of a vehicle or only for equipment and the small gear of a scene. Thinner, brushes and an airbrush are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
