It is the narrower variant of the range the manufacturer makes, so it gets between panel lines, up to edges and onto smaller areas better, where a wider roller would run over places it should not. A roller counts as a consumable: as soon as the paint sets inside it or the edge gets crushed, the coat stops being smooth and it is time to fit a new one.
Pick up a thin layer of paint and first run it out away from the model, so that the excess does not reach the surface in drops. Work in several thin layers, not in one thick one; a thick layer stays textured and covers over fine relief. After the work, rinse the roller without delay in the agent matching the paint you used and let it dry freely away from dust.
For modelers who already own the matching hand roller and need a spare refill for it. Eight pieces in the package will last a long time even for those who build continuously and alternate shades.
