This item is not a glued plastic model but an extensive kit of plastic bricks from the brand COBI. The parts snap together according to a picture instruction sheet, so no glue, filler or paints are needed for the build. Given the sizeable subject it is a build for several longer evenings. Check the number of parts, the size of the finished model and the contents of the package on the box.
The E-100 was a German development project for a super-heavy tank of the end of the Second World War, part of the program of the so-called E series, which was meant to unify the design of armored vehicles into a few weight classes. The machine never reached series production and was never completed, and only a partly built hull remained finished. Any rendering of the whole vehicle therefore always starts from design documents rather than from a machine actually in service, and models differ from one another in their treatment of the turret.
You work through the instructions, without cutting, sanding or gluing. On large vehicles it is practical to build in assemblies, that is first the hull, then the running gear and finally the turret. Take the parts out following the steps of the instructions and work on a light surface, so that the small components do not get lost. The finished model only needs dusting with a soft brush from time to time.
The kit is supplied unassembled. Glue and paints are not needed, as the parts join mechanically.
