The white M8 GTE White is a shade derived from the BMW M8 GTE circuit car. With the works machinery of the German brand white plays the role of a ground on which the blue and red stripes and the fields for partners only then stand out, so the cleanliness of the tone counts more here than elsewhere. On the real subject the white rarely covered the whole car, as the lower sections and the diffuser stayed dark, so the light surface ends in a sharp edge above the sill.
The M8 GTE was an endurance car of the GTE class built on the basis of the large coupe of the M8 line. The brand entered both the world endurance championship and the North American series with it, it made its debut in the twenty-four-hour race at Daytona in 2018 and a year later won its class there. It differed from the road coupe by a widened body, a massive rear wing and an extensive diffuser. The white area on it is therefore not uniform but breaks across sharp edges and vents.
