The Antonov An-2 is a single-engine multipurpose biplane, one of the most widespread and longest-built aircraft of its class. It stands out for being able to operate from short, unpaved surfaces, for its low stalling speed and for its ruggedness in harsh conditions. The configuration with a ski undercarriage allowed landings on snow and frozen surfaces, typical of operations in northern and remote regions.
We recommend gluing with thin cement for plastic and dressing the joints carefully, and on a biplane pay attention to seating the upper wing and the struts. Apply primer before painting; an airbrush is ideal. Mask the clear parts, and the panel lines can be picked out with a delicate wash.
