Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Boeing 720 jet airliner in 1:144 scale from Roden, in the Starship One version. The model is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted set, with parts in gray plastic, clear windows and a decal sheet. The version captures the aircraft converted into a private transport machine for a concert tour in the 1970s.
The Boeing 720 was a shortened and lightened variant of the successful Boeing 707 type, meant for routes with a shorter range. It was powered by four jet engines and offered good performance on shorter runways as well. The machine Starship One was a leased aircraft converted for the comfortable carriage of musicians and their entourage during an extensive concert tour, which made it a popular subject.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Sand the joints of the fuselage and the wings carefully for the sake of the smooth metal and painted finish. Fit the windows only after the clear coat, and lay the colorful decals on a gloss base so that they settle without silvering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
