Injection-molded plastic kit of the French Dassault Rafale M multirole carrier-based fighter in 1:144 scale from Trumpeter. The M version is intended for operation from the aircraft carriers of the French Navy. The model consists of a finely engraved airframe and suits a collection of modern European fighters.
The Rafale is a twin-engine multirole fighter with a delta wing and canards. The Rafale M version is the naval, carrier-based variant adapted for catapult launches and deck landings: it has strengthened landing gear, an arrestor hook and other modifications for operation from a carrier. It serves with French naval aviation and performs tasks from air combat to attacks on ground and surface targets.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic; assemble and paint the small pylons, the external fuel tanks and the guided missiles separately. Glue the canopy glazing with canopy glue so that it stays clear, and paint the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. Rafales wear a gray camouflage of lower contrast - after the gloss clear coat and the decals, pick the panel lines out with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
