This small kit from Mark I Models captures the German Heinkel He 219 Uhu night fighter in the A-2 version in 1:144 scale. The box holds finely injection-molded plastic parts and a small photo-etched fret with fine details such as antennas and seats.
The Heinkel He 219 Uhu was a twin-engine night fighter of the Luftwaffe deployed in the later phase of the Second World War. It was an advanced machine with onboard radar, tricycle nose landing gear and ejection seats. It was intended for the night defense against Allied bombers.
Given the small scale, work with a sharp knife and fine tweezers. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue and the plastic ones with liquid modeling cement. Night schemes suit an airbrush and fine masking of the camouflage transitions.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
