A plastic kit of the Soviet fighter Lavochkin La-5FN in the small 1:144 scale from Zvezda. Models of this range tend to be designed as easy and to click together (snap-fit) with no need for glue, which makes them a good choice for tabletop games as well as for a quick build for a collection.
The La-5FN was a Soviet single-seat fighter of the Second World War with a radial engine and a wood and metal structure. The FN version with the boosted engine was among the best performing Soviet fighters of its time and proved itself in combat on the Eastern Front.
The small scale invites a quick build; the joints can be secured with a drop of cement for plastic. We recommend a primer, a base coat and gentle accentuation of the panels. Glue the clear canopy parts on only after painting and masking.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
