Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the French First World War reconnaissance biplane Salmson 2 A2 in 1:144 scale from the Czech maker Valom. The package is conceived as a double set for building two aircraft and holds etched parts for the struts and the landing gear. The models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Salmson 2 A2 was one of the most widely used Allied reconnaissance and observation aircraft of the closing stages of the First World War. It was marked out by a water-cooled radial engine and a dependable design, thanks to which it won popularity with French and American units alike. In its day it belonged to the mainstays of aerial reconnaissance over the front.
Given the small scale and the small parts, proceed carefully; glue the etched struts and landing gear with cyanoacrylate glue. Rigging and bracing the lifting surfaces of a biplane calls for patience. The fabric surfaces will stand out after a pass of flat shades and fine weathering. The double package makes it possible to build a pair of machines in differing schemes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
