This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from Ding-Hao Hobby combines the American M3A3 Stuart light tank with the quadruple twenty-millimeter Flak 38 anti-aircraft cannon (the Flakvierling). The model is supplied unassembled and is meant to be glued and painted; depending on the edition the set holds additional detail as well.
The M3A3 was a later version of the American M3 Stuart light tank, with a welded hull and a reworked turret. The German 2 cm Flakvierling 38 cannon brought four twenty-millimeter automatic weapons together on a common mount and was used against low-flying targets and ground targets alike. This set captures the combination of both items as it appeared on captured and improvised equipment.
Assemble the running gear and then deal with the fine four-barrel mount separately. Glue the plastic with thin cement, apply primer and the base shade with an airbrush. Bring out the open weapon station with washes and pigments; crew figures suit it as well, but they are not part of the set, unless stated otherwise.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
