This product is NOT a model of the craft but a photo-etched brass detail set from Brengun. It brings fine elements for refining models of the American LCM-3 landing craft in 1:144 scale and replaces coarser plastic parts with thin photo-etched surfaces. The target kit is Trumpeter.
The LCM-3 (Landing Craft, Mechanized) was an American landing craft of the Second World War intended to carry vehicles, equipment and troops from ships to the shore. It saw service in amphibious operations in Europe and in the Pacific alike.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a firm surface and make the bends in a photo-etch bender. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the photo-etch before painting and prime it with a base color.
An accessory for a more advanced build. The model itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
