A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:16 scale for a model of the Tiger I heavy tank. The set does not contain a model; it serves to give a model that is already built and painted the markings of a particular vehicle. According to the name, this is the vehicle with the number 913 from the year 1944.
At the large 1:16 scale the markings are a dominant element of the surface, so the print quality and the registration of the colors show at first glance. A sheet printed directly for this scale therefore gives a better result than enlarging decals from smaller sets. Check how many schemes the sheet offers and how big it is on the packaging.
The base under a decal must be smooth and glossy, otherwise air is sealed in under the film and silvering results. Proceed by coating the area with gloss varnish, releasing the decal in warm water, sliding it into place and drawing the water off. On intricate areas use a softener and let the decal dry without shifting it. Finally, unify the model with a matte or semi-matte varnish, which also protects the decal while you apply the patina.
