A sheet of decals for a model of the Tiger I tank in 1:16 scale, with the markings of the vehicle with the tactical number 213.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War, recognizable by its angular hull with almost vertical armor plates, by its wide combat tracks and by its 88 mm gun. Its running gear was mounted on interleaved wheels, which gave a smooth ride but caused trouble in mud and frost. The vehicles carried a large tactical number on the turret, so it is precisely that which turns a model into a particular machine; the number 213 belongs to the markings attributed to the commander Otto Carius.
The decals are in 1:16 scale and reckon with large models, where a small inaccuracy in placing cannot be hidden. The sheet carries the tactical number 213 and further markings of the vehicle; where each element belongs is shown by the drawing enclosed with the decals.
The sheet will be of use to builders of large Tiger models who want to give a vehicle a particular guise, and to owners of radio-controlled models at this scale. The model, paints and varnish are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
