It is neither a kit nor a complete landing gear but a replacement detail for the wheels from the box.
The 1:35 scale is commonly associated with ground hardware; on aircraft it is unusual. Kits of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 in the G version nevertheless exist in it, and accessories for them appear regularly, from masks through photo-etched parts to decals. This set belongs to that group, so if you are building the Bf 109 G in 1:35 in particular, its wheels will fit the model better in size than parts from other scales.
A wheel is a part that a viewer has directly at eye level on a display-case model. In a plastic kit the mold parting line usually runs across its tread and the pattern of the disc tends to be soft. A casting is cast in one piece, so the edges stay sharp and the hub readable. On the Bf 109, moreover, the form of the wheel changed during development, so the disc type and the tire size help in hitting a particular version.
Wash the parts in warm soapy water to get rid of the mold release agent. Cut the casting block off with a saw and level the small face with abrasive paper, wet and with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a base coat before painting, spray the disc and the tire separately and finish the boundary off with a mask or a brush.
The set is an accessory for a model. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
