99. MiG-15bis in the Czechoslovak Air Force, Volume 3 (M. Irra) is a publication from Jakab Publishing devoted to the modernized MiG-15bis version in service with the Czechoslovak Air Force.
Responsibility details are not available.
This title is a publication, not a kit. In the Jakab Publishing line it carries the sequence number 99 and it is the third volume of the treatment of the MiG-15bis in the Czechoslovak Air Force. The author is given directly in the title. Unlike the title about the basic fifteen, this one deals with the bis version, so when choosing make sure which of them you need.
The MiG-15bis is an improved version of the Soviet MiG-15 jet fighter. It received a more powerful engine and a range of modifications to the airframe and the equipment that improved its flight performance. It served in the Czechoslovak Air Force in the 1950s and was also built under license in Czechoslovakia under the domestic designation S-103. For a modeler the differences from the basic version are substantial, because they show in the shape of some of the covers, in the equipment and in service details, which is why the kits of the two versions differ.
For modelers of postwar jet fighters with an interest in the Czechoslovak Air Force and for readers of domestic aviation history. As the third volume it follows on from the previous books, so those who already have them get the most out of it.
