Hobby Design offers several characters for 1:18 scale under the Show Girl designation, and this one carries the letter C. The goods consist of the figure alone, meant for rounding out a model of a car; neither the car nor accessories for it are included.
When photographing a collection, the biggest trouble tends to be the emptiness around the car - the shot then looks like a manufacturer's publicity photograph. A human figure in the frame breaks that impression, because it offers the eye a second point of interest and at the same time gives away the size of the vehicle. It proves best to place it off the axis of the lens, in the second third of the frame, where it does not cover the line of the body.
Before painting, check whether the figure stands without rocking, and level any unevenness under the feet with abrasive paper. Apply the primer by spraying or with a very thin brush, so that the features of the face are not flooded. With skin it pays to mix the transitional shades in advance and have them to hand, because mixing caught up during the work usually does not meet the shade. Drybrushing at the end will bring out the hair and the edges of the clothing.
