Hollow Bases 25 mm by AK interactive is a package of ten hollow bases 25 mm in size for wargaming figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
For players of tabletop battle games, bases are a consumable, because without a base a figure cannot be stood on the table and neither range nor movement can be measured from it. This package holds ten pieces 25 mm in size in the hollow form the name gives.
The 25 mm size is the basic infantry dimension in most tabletop systems. Ordinary infantry and smaller models stand on it, while bulkier figures move up to 32 or 40 mm. A package of ten pieces matches the way infantry is put together, in whole squads rather than piece by piece.
A base suffers more in play than the figure does. It gets held, it travels over the gaming board and it bumps into the walls of a transport case. It therefore pays to fix both the texture and the color at the edge with a coat of matte varnish and to repair small scuffs as you go, not the evening before a tournament.
For players who need to stand a whole unit on the same bases, and for modelers whose figure from another package has no base. Check the shape of the base and the material on the packaging.
