Responsibility details are not available.
The Boeing 777-200 is a twin-engine widebody airliner for long-range routes and the first form of the whole 777 family. It entered regular service in the middle of the 1990s and to this day is among the types met on long-haul routes the world over. The real aircraft measures over sixty-three meters, so in 1:200 scale the model comes out roughly thirty-two centimeters long with a span of around thirty centimeters. On a shelf it therefore takes up more room than this scale leads you to expect.
A model of an airliner stands and falls on a smooth surface. The fuselage is largely one continuous surface on which every irregularity and the slightest step in a joint stands out, so it pays to spend time sanding and smoothing the seams before the paint comes into play. The joint on the fuselage is long, besides, so it fills and sands better in shorter sections than all at once. A light base coat will then reveal anything left undone in good time; under the top coat it would show only on the finished model.
Work from the large surfaces to the small items: fit the landing gear, the antennas and the other thin parts last, so that they do not suffer while the long fuselage is handled. Varnish the area under the decals with a gloss coat; on a smooth, glossy surface a decal settles with no fogged edges. Leave a matte or semi-gloss look to the final varnish over the whole model.
The kit is supplied unassembled. Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
