The 1:144 scale is the most widespread one for airliner models, so even a machine of this size stays reasonably compact in it and fits into a display case.
The A340 is a long-haul wide-body aircraft recognizable at first glance by its four turbofan engines under the wing. It was developed alongside the twin-engine A330 type and shares a large part of the airframe and the wing with it, which was an unusually economical approach for the time. It was built in shorter and in markedly stretched versions, between which there are noticeable differences in fuselage length and in the engines used.
What is supplied is an add-on set according to the parts list of the manufacturer. The aircraft kit, the paints, the decals and the glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
