A miniature of a circuit tire that goes into a build in place of the parts from the box. The name gives the size in inches as 19, which sets what rim the rubber belongs on. In itself it is not a kit of a car but a partial accessory.
The A050 model replaced the older A048 type in the Yokohama range and moved the compound, the carcass and the shape of the pattern on. With it the manufacturer stressed faster warm-up and more stable behavior during repeated heat cycles, that is properties important for sprints and timed runs. The pattern stayed sparse, with a dominant smooth center. Its place in the brand's series range meant that the type appeared on the cars of ordinary club entrants too.
Scaled-down rubber looks better with a finely lowered sheen, which you achieve with matte varnish applied in a thin coat. Level the mold seam around the circumference of the sidewall with a stroke of a sanding sponge in the direction of rotation, not across it. The lettering on the sides can be suggested with a light gray paint applied with drybrushing over the relief. Choose a base shade more toward gray, because in miniature pure black looks lifeless and takes the depth out of the drawing.
