A detailed set of parts for the engine bay of a BMW 2002ti model in 1:24 scale. It replaces the simplified rendition under the hood.
Responsibility details are not available.
The BMW 2002 is a compact two-door car of the 02 series, built from the end of the 1960s, which made the brand's name among fast small sedans. It is driven by a two-liter inline four mounted longitudinally at the front, with the power going to the rear wheels. Its engine bay is fairly airy, so once the hood is raised almost everything in it is visible.
Detailed parts for the engine bay for 1:24 scale: the engine and its ancillaries as well as the breakdown of the surrounding walls. An injection-molded kit tends to be sparing exactly here: the block is smooth, the small ancillaries only suggested and the areas around them empty. The replacement parts carry a finer surface and deeper relief, which a mold cannot manage. The scope of the package is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
For modelers who want to build the model with the hood open, and for builders of competition work, where what is visible only once the hood is raised also counts. The particular assembly procedure is given in the manufacturer's instructions. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
