The wheels in the BMW range carry the sequence numbers of the Styling series, and modelers look by them for exactly the pattern they need on a build. This set corresponds to the number 37 in a diameter of eighteen inches. After conversion into 1:24 scale it is a wheel roughly nineteen millimeters in diameter, that is a size common on modern cars, where a large wheel with a low tire sets the whole expression of the vehicle.
The set brings complete wheels: rims with the Styling 37 pattern and tires to go with them. They will replace the wheels supplied in a kit, or else serve as a source of modern rims for a build the wheels from the box do not suit.
The drawing of the rim will stand out when the rim is painted as a whole first and the deeper places are underlined with a thinned dark paint only at the end. Cut the excess material and the marks left by production away with a sharp blade a little from the part and sand the remainder so that the circumference of the rim stays round. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Put the tire on only once the paint has dried, otherwise you will damage the fresh coat on the rim.
The set is for builders of modern road cars who want wheels with a crisper drawing than a kit offers. Choose a suitable glue according to the material of the parts and go by the manufacturer's instructions. Paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
