The Toyota Chaser is a Japanese mid-size passenger car. The designation in the name specifies which form it is: a hardtop body, a two-liter class engine and the SGS trim level. A hardtop is recognized by its side windows without fixed frames, so the side of the car has a clean line with no vertical pillars when the windows are down.
The package is a plastic kit in 1:24 scale intended to be built and painted yourself. At this scale a model of a passenger car measures roughly twenty centimeters, so every unevenness of the surface shows on the body. Try fitting the parts together dry before gluing, so that you know how they seat against each other. Sand the stubs left after separating a part with fine sandpaper and level the surface. Wash and degrease the body and unify the base with a base coat; an unevenness you overlook in the base will be emphasized under a gloss finish. Lay the paint and the clear coat on in thin coats and let the surface cure between them.
The set is for modelers who collect Japanese cars or build road scenery in 1:24 scale. Paints, thinner, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
