This injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese manufacturer Tamiya captures the compact two-seat roadster Eunos Roadster, also known as the Mazda MX-5 (Miata), in 1:24 scale. The model offers parts for building it with an open roof as well as with a detachable hardtop, and it can be built with the side windows down or up. Rubber tires, a detailed interior and a faithful chassis underline its realistic look.
The Eunos Roadster (Mazda MX-5) was introduced in 1989 as a light two-seat roadster with rear-wheel drive. It went for the classic concept of a small sports car with a balanced chassis and a pure driving experience and became one of the most successful roadsters of all.
Decide in advance whether you will build the open version or the one with the hardtop. Paint the interior and the chassis before closing up the body, and finish the body with an airbrush over primer and with a gloss varnish. Fit the rubber tires only at the end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
