This accessory is aimed at modelers who are bothered by an empty cockpit and a bare cargo floor on a finished helicopter. Kelik supplies decals with a raised texture that are transferred straight onto the plastic parts and, once dry, look like a finely shaped surface. It saves drawing the panels by hand and hours spent over seat belts. The set is cut for the Fujimi and Academy kits.
The Sikorsky CH-53D Sea Stallion is a heavy transport helicopter of the United States Marine Corps. It carried troops, light vehicles and a slung load, and its service reaches from Vietnam to deployments in Iraq. The roomy cargo compartment with a rear ramp is exactly the place where detailing pays off most.
Level the base, spray it and polish it, otherwise the motif will not settle. Divide larger areas into smaller pieces, as they seat more easily without creases. Apply a softener drop by drop and do not move the motif afterwards. Spray the seats in the shade of the upholstery first, so that the edges of the decal do not show through anywhere. A final matting will unify the whole space.
The package holds decals only; you obtain the helicopter kit separately.
